Shop Update: July 2024

Hello my lovelies! I hope you're having a wonderful summer. It's been hot and steamy and rainy - usually all at the same time! 

Rebranding

I've changed up my logo and color scheme y'all! I'll be making these changes throughout the website as time allows, but I really like how this turned out!

Events

I am 30 days away from my very first comicon vender event at FanExpo in Chicago, IL. I've always wanted to try vending at these conventions, and this first con will be a definite learning curve. I'm sure I will make some mistakes, but that will make me better when the next convention rolls around. Come see me in Artist Alley in Booth #A525!

I have been accepted to GalaxyCon St. Louis in October, 2025. This is the largest investment I've made for this type of event, but with it being over a year away it will allow me to make more varying products for everyone to see and purchase!

I am currently awaiting approval for Planet Comicon in Kansas City, MO. Last year I was waitlisted so I was unable to participate, so I'm hoping that in submitting my application early that I will be approved - fingers crossed!

Products

I have decided that I will be transitioning back to only selling handmade jewelry. All non-jewelry items will be placed on clearance at the beginning of September. I've been leaning this way for several months now, and it just makes sense. Handmade jewelry is my passion, and I must follow that passion.

I'm also working on getting back into wire wrapping, but it has proven challenging given the nerve damage in my hands. If the piece is pretty simple, I can crank them out without any issues; however, if the piece is very involved and intricate I can maybe complete one piece before I have to stop for the day. I work in raw copper, not the dead soft kind, and I doubt I will change on that point.

There is a necklace that I made several years ago that proved popular that I will be bringing back this fall. It's a copper swirl and leather necklace that features a shepherd's hook side clasp. I will definitely share it here when I get the latest one created.

Live Stream Events

I have not been great at live streaming this year at all. Life tends to get in the way, especially since I have a full-time job that zaps all my energy away (which I hate, but I gotta pay the bills). My plan is to start these one-hour lives back up in September where I will be making jewelry and offering tips and tricks.
