Shop Update - August 2024

FanExpo Chicago

We're less than one week away from FanExpo Chicago, and I'm working frantically to get everything wrapped up before heading out in a few days. There's always that dread of forgetting something important, but hopefully that won't happen, or better yet, I hope I didn't just jinx myself!

Another thing I'm afraid of is not selling anything while I'm there. I make handmade jewelry, which is very niche given the surroundings. I don't mess with copyrighted anything - I steer well clear of that! This convention is an experiment of sorts. I've wanted to break into this for some time now but was too afraid

Hello my lovelies - I've got several updates for you, so let's get to it!

Conventions

I've been waitlisted for Planet Comicon for a second year in a row, which means I'm going to look for a different con to vend at in March 2025. Being waitlisted just means "Nice try, but no go." I'm also having a hard time breaking into the conventions in Dallas - both FanExpo Dallas and Dallas Fan Festival are waitlisted. I'm looking for the sure thing, and there's no shortage of conventions around the country. I've got my eye on a few right now, but I have to get through FanExpo Chicago first.

Craft Fairs

I'm going to start up at craft fairs again in 2025. The bummer is that I can only apply for events that are on Sundays only - my current job has me working several Saturdays a month so that throws everything off for me.

Products

All stickers have been placed into clearance. It was a great run, but I was never able to sell enough of them to keep it going. Get them before they're gone!

I will be starting up Seasonal Boxes beginning with Fall. Each box will contain a bracelet, a pair of earrings, a pendant, and a necklace that reflects the theme of the season. Pricing is still up in the air at this time - it will depend on the materials that I'm using. These boxes will be a limited run, so get them before they're gone!

That's all for now - I will have an event recap for you in a couple of weeks. Stay YOUnique!
